Company Services Swiss SA has specially designed and built a customized testing ring to simulate in full scale the trawl board scraping effect over the pipelines and the field joints, to select the required materials for the given loads and scraping result of trawl board onto the line.
IMPACT TEST
In addition to the scraping test, Company Services Swiss SA has specially designed and built a customized testing ring to simulate in full scale the trawl board, or other media, impacts effect over the pipelines and the field joints, to select the required materials for the given loads and impact result of trawl board or other impacts onto the line.
BENDING TEST
CSS SA Group can also perform full-scale bending tests, when required, to confirm the field joint behaviour under the calculated bending radius.
